KFC Corporate Complaints: The #MyKFCExperience was a campaign that aimed to revitalizeKentucky Fried Chicken’s (KFC) services and promotions popularity, one the world’s most popular fast-food chains. The Kentucky state based restaurants, where the original chicken recipe was introduced more than 60 years ago, had offered special promotions, like as the KFC Promos and other varieties.

Promises varied from rewards for customers who filled the survey with participation in contests, exclusive prizes, and, as alleged by the company, thousands of free food coupons.

But it seems like that has not been entirely the case, creating friction between the big company and its consumers, as it has been recently reported.

One of the most common complaints comes from the site http://acceleratedgrowthmarketing.com/mykfcexperience/, where a user identifying herself as ‘Amy’ stated that she had “tried 3 times”, “but the systemwouldn’taccept my numbers or date”. Another user of the same portal identified as ‘Richard Fleming’, described that last time going for a meal at a KFC establishment, he endureda strong inconformity with the service,
“This was the second time consecutive time where I would have had to wait 20 min for grilled.” Later addressing this happening to be “Unacceptable.”

A user that identified in the site as ‘Dwight Bentley’, shared a pretty dreadful tale of just one, of the common outcomes related to the survey’s results.
“I attempted to complete the survey the given page but it would not accept the information I provided”, “I ordered an original 12 piece meal with 2 sides of potatoes (…) When I got home with it I discovered what appeared to be old original chicken that was evidently put back in the fryer”, “it was extremely overcooked and dark as could be. The chicken legs I had in my box that were not even bigger than my middle finger!”, only to subsequently add that “I had ordered 2 portions of mashed potatoes,but yet I only got one container of gravy, and the biscuits were hard on the bottom like they have been sitting out for awhile.”

As bad as it looks for the company’s public image, the former customer –he says to never buy food again on KFC establishments–, later stated on the rampage text that he won’t be going to any KFC establishment soon.
Other users like ‘Bob Delahaya’, have echoed the tone of these accusations. Following alike complaints, and reaching to similar infuriated conclusions, “It tasted like it had been cooked in stale old oil. It was outright disgusting! What a disappointment! I spent $32.90 for garbage!”, “Will I recommend this restaurant? Definitely not.”,“I am not sure if I will ever return to a KFC restaurant again.”

Though these complaints may seem like no more than very scratchesfor the big franchise, it may cause a domino effect on the recent spread disappointment on it services because of neglectfulness of the company on a real connection with their customers.
